Let The Journey Begin!

I am so excited that I am finally getting my photography business started! This whole dream began while I was living in Haiti and being inspired by all of the beautiful people with nothing to capture them with. One day in March of 2012, I thought I was going to pick up a team from the Port-Au-Prince airport, and when I arrived instead of a team walking out of the gates I saw my wonderful parents there to surprise me. Needless to say I was brought to tears and overwhelmed with their love for me. They new I had dreams of photography and with their arrival they presented me with my first DSLR camera. I was in shock, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I asked them ” How could you guys love me and do such incredible things for after everything I have put you through,” ( and to hear that story of redemption you can read my other blog http://carleyshaitimission.wordpress.com) But they replied with this simple answer,” Carley, what have you done? You our are precious daughter, we forgive you.” And that is where this amazing journey of photography began. God has given me light and I refuse to let it go dim! I want to capture His beauty and the people who bring it to life! Thank you everyone for your support, and especially my family.Image

  1. I love this, Carley! Congratulations!! So, so happy for you!!! I remember this time in your life when your parents picked out your Canon…it certainly serves as the perfect tool for your craft! Amazing! What a wonderful gift that has come full circle…you give to all of us with the images you capture and the stories you tell. You are a phenomenal artist and photographer, and I couldn’t be more proud to see you sharing your talent and your beauty–your story!–with others. God is working through you in sensational ways, seester 😉 I love you so much! Congratulations!!!

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8
